I stayed at this hotel as part of a Trafalgar Tour. My room was 112. The bed was uncomfortable and I did not sleep well in this hotel. The bathroom was quite spacious and the shower was very roomy. The hotel did not have a shop and there was no vending machines, room service was the only way to get drinks I used the room service on the first night at the hotel on to discover that the drinks WERE WARM AND NOT COLD as they should have been. The bottles had also been pre opened so the soft drink would have been flat by the time the room fridge had chilled them sufficently.

Jury's Inn in Plymouth is a recently constructed hotel. The rooms are basic, clean and overall priced well. In terms of location it is close to the bus and rail station, University of Plymouth and nearby shopping area. Wi-fi is not included and there is inadequate cost effective parking. The nearby underground car park is priced at £10 for 12 hours.

Plymouth as a city is historic and has many places of interest. It was badly damaged during WWII and the view from the hotel window shows perhaps one of Britain's oddest archictectural relationships. A roundabout, a badly damaged church and the angled wedged facade of the main shopping arcade. But don't let this impression be your only one of the city. Walking around the Barbican and Hoe you will uncover some truly historic points of interest. Plymouth is of course still host to the remaining parts of the Royal Navy. (Post Tory inspired cuts, this will soon amount to a dinghy and a couple of gun boats.)

There are many restaurants and pubs in Plymouth that retain some of the quaint charm of England and if you are visiting from abroad it is well worth a trip. Using something like Laterooms you will be able to get a good deal on Jury's Inn, which is afterall a good base to work out of.

Young staff to be commended. Rooms comfortable and clean. Fodd and management terrible. There is a total absence of management doing their job this leads to the reality that this place does not provide value for money or do justice to the chain it belongs to. INTERNET - please note what others have said and stay somewhere else it is deffinately that kind of place. I was here with a large party for a week and felt that overall I had not got contact with the people who could respond to the constant frustrations experienced.

Arrived on Mon slow check in during check and not formally informed but just a note on reception stating restaurant closed due to large party, which turned out to be 4 coach loads of guests. WiFi is charged at £5 for an hour or £10 for 24 hours but most competitors are free! Car parking eh no just a very expensive multi storey next door.

Rooms are spacious with good flat screen TV. Bath is very shallow and heating system is uncontrollable.

Did not eat in at night as there are so many quality eateries two mins away on the Barbican, but breakfast was terrible dirty, sticky tables and very poor choice of food. Avoid breakfast at all costs. Bar service was friendly but so slow, again so many options for a drink on the Barbican including wine bars, good pubs with cask ales and entertainment in some every night.

Overall as a base for 3 days work around Devon it was ok but only ok. Premier inn is close by worth looking at.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above 4th floor

We recently stayed at the Jurys Inn in Plymouth. It was easy to find and in a good location to the docks and shopping - plus we had a GREAT view from our room. It's a chain hotel so nothing was spectacular, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly.

This is a lovely hotel. Very close to all the shops and only a short walk from anywhere interesting. The breakfasts are really good, £6.95 if you pay in advance the night before. Beds are comfy. Parking is just next to it for £10 per 24 hours which is good for Plymouth. Will definitely be coming back!

Jury's Inn is a typically reliable chain hotel, and this one was no different. Basic, clean and functional rooms and a standard buffet breakfast.

There is a small shop behind the hotel if you want to get some water or snacks. Friendly check-in staff, I didn't eat in the hotel, but the bar staff seemed to be able to pour a pint no worries.

The higher up rooms seem to be better, you may even get a nice view, or you may luck out and get a view of the air con plant.
