Excellent Hotel but parking can be difficult as Beefeater very busy at times.
Only complaint was that I booked at table for dinner when I booked on line - recommend on booking form - but although this was confirmed when I arrived, the Beefeater had no record of the booking when I went to eat - had to wait until a table became free. Hotel clean and staff very helpful and polite.

We stayed here just the one night, a very modern/clinical room with large flat screen tv. Could do with a few 'softening' touches. Pre-booked breakfast in the Beefeater which adjoins the hotel very good help yourself to toast, pastries etc but cooked is to order you get exactly what you ask for so make sure you say a number with the bacon/eggs etc. Our room was facing the car park so no traffic noise (room 40) but it might be more noisy on the other side. Situated just off the roundabout under the A38 flyover so you don't have to drive all the way down into Plymouth if it's a stop over stay.

Room Tip: Over look the car park and not the dual carriage way

Good, clean reliable hotel and children friendly. If you book in advance you can get a really good deal and children under sixteen eat free. It does get busy on the weekends so book a table. Breakfast is very good value and well worth having. Hot food it cooked to order so no dried up bacon and sausage. Staff friendly and welcoming. It is situated off a very busy roundabout but also benefits from being near a very large supermarket with petrol station. There is a bridge over the main road to nip across for midnight snacks and drinks. Why spend money on expensive hotels when you can get value for money at the premier inn and have money to spend going out.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend on Monday the breakfast took an hour to arrive and in the meantime parts had run out when it finally arrived it was disgusting. The room was clean but noise above was dreadful and the extra bed we had in the room was really uncomfortable my daughter had to sleep on a duvet for extra comfort - maybe the staff should try sleeping on these beds!!!
Food in the restaurant in the evening was of poor quality too.

Extremely clean room, fantastic staff on reception and in the restaurant next door. I stayed for 3 nights in April, whilst visiting Plymouth. The beds are huge and very comfy. There were a few minor problems with the room but they were immediately sorted out by the kind staff on reception.
Cooked breakfast in the restaurant wasn't brilliant but the continental choice was fantastic.
Overall, a nice hotel and I would stay here again. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff.

Room Tip: If you want a quieter room ask for numbers 50 and up on the first floor as these are furthest from the restaurant. Although this hotel is on the main a38 roundabout, there is actually more noise from people leaving the restaurant than there is from the road! (especially at weekends
