Premier Inn Plymouth City Centre (Sutton Harbour) Hotel

We use Premier Inns a lot since you always get a guaranteed level of comfort. Some might say that the corporate feel is boring and lacks a personal touch, we find it reassuring. The chain caters for children well - easy to book family rooms and free children's breakfast.

We stayed at Sutton Harbour for one night whilst visiting Devon. The family room was small in our experience of family rooms in the chain - really a double with two fold up beds added but was clean and well maintained. Windows throughout the hotel were small so no views. Service however was excellent - a warm welcome and great service at breakfast with staff who couldn't do too much to help, particular with our two noisy toddlers!

The hotel is perfectly located for accessing Sutton Harbour, the barbican, the national maritime centre and for accessing town. Parking was free and was valid for a few days. Overall a very good stay and a great price.

The staff at this Premier Inn are very friendly, my room was immaculately clean and had everything that I required in it. The hotel is very conveniently located for Sutton Harbour, which seems like a very nice place, but is a little bit of a trek from the railway station.

It was really good value for money, great clean room with nice beds for the kids (free!). The location is fantastic as it is right next to the aquarium and the barbican and offer 20per cent off a family ticket for the awesome aquarium. Breakfast is great too,a buffet with excellent food and the kids eat free.

We stayed in this hotel late November. Car parking easy and free, but you must get a windscreen ticket, reception was easy with helpfull staff.
Our room was on the third floor and looked over the harbour(I had asked for this view when I booked). Although no air con, the room is huge, clean and has a window but it only opens a tad. We found the temempeture in the room ok, if you have the window open. People should read the web site as it does say about the air con etc, they could always choose another hotel as some moan when they arrive here !....
Breakfast is very good and plenty to choose from well done there, the staff are very attentive but not in your face.
The hotel is located in a great position, easy walking to all the main locations in Plymouth.
We would come back here again. Well done keep up the standards.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the harbour have a great view.
