It was really good value for money, great clean room with nice beds for the kids (free!). The location is fantastic as it is right next to the aquarium and the barbican and offer 20per cent off a family ticket for the awesome aquarium. Breakfast is great too,a buffet with excellent food and the kids eat free.

We stayed in this hotel late November. Car parking easy and free, but you must get a windscreen ticket, reception was easy with helpfull staff.
Our room was on the third floor and looked over the harbour(I had asked for this view when I booked). Although no air con, the room is huge, clean and has a window but it only opens a tad. We found the temempeture in the room ok, if you have the window open. People should read the web site as it does say about the air con etc, they could always choose another hotel as some moan when they arrive here !....
Breakfast is very good and plenty to choose from well done there, the staff are very attentive but not in your face.
The hotel is located in a great position, easy walking to all the main locations in Plymouth.
We would come back here again. Well done keep up the standards.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the harbour have a great view.

Stayed recently in room 215, thought something was up when small fan, large fan and an air con. unit were running in the room! Temperature never fell below 24.5 degs. Very poor sleep, lack of air resulted in leaving in the morning with Headaches. Promised refund by Receptionist and 3 weeks later still waiting! We were assured it was not a heating problem just well insulated.

Room Tip: Avoid room 215, something wrong with heating system in this room.

This is what you would expect from a Premier Inn - nothing flash but everything well presented, a comfortable bed, and reasonably sized room. The breakfast is good value where the children eat for free. It is immediately next door to another Premier Inn - Lockyers Quay - with a slightly higher review score but I wonder if this is actually the better choice: its rate are lower, has the same amenities, and its restaurant is in the building not across a car park. Located very close to the aquarium, The Barbican and The Hoe. The car park is a bit small and runs out of space if the hotel is full but there should be overspill space next door. All-in-all very good, especially for a one night family stay.

I stayed here for 5 nights with work and it was very pleasant. The staff are friendly and always willing to help.
thr food in the restaurant was excellent. Every meal was good value. Beers were a little expensive. Rooms were a good size and had everything I needed. Overall very good. Would recommend.

Recently stayed here while working/visiting a site in the Plymouth area. As per many of my stays they are paid for by my company, however I try and give the fellow traveler an honest review of the hotels where I stay.
This Premier Inn is located within the Sutton Harbour area and is adjacent to a second Premier Inn (Lockyers Quay).
As with most Premier Inns, what you see is what you get, which is usually a clean, tidy and functional hotel. Since I last stayed here (around 2007) the hotel has been modernised and now has a smart integral restaurant that has a fairly decent selection of food, which I found to be well prepared / cooked. The only gripe is the car park is small and if you don't arrive early enough to secure a space, you are diverted next door to the other Premier Inn. This is ok but again this car park can get full especially with additional people using the car park when visiting the pub. Also on this particular occasion it was raining which meant I got wet heading back to my hotel.
Over all I can't fault my stay and would recommend this location to anyone thinking of visiting Plymouth.
