First class location with free on site parking. Very large 3rd floor room overlooking the harbour towards the Barbican. The bed must have been 6 ft wide. Room as always well furnished and very clean. Staff all very helpful. Another great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room overlooking the harbour.

I've been a hotelier since 1960 and think Premier have found the present answer to good quality rooms at reasonable prices. My wife and I try to find one whenever we travel. They certainly show Travel Lodge how to do it.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the marina

I stayed here for only one night, booked online, double room with the saver and no breakfast for £29. i'll start with the bad so i can end on the good points of my stay.
1 - We couldn't change the temperature in the room, we think its automatic, so the room was too hot even though it was only between 21-23 degrees, only way to cool the room down was to put a fan on but it then became too cold. It would be nice to be able to change the temperature of our room so we are comfortable.
2 - We could hear every footstep in the room above us, and it was especially bad when the cleaners were in there. We felt sorry for those who might have been in the room beneath us as they must have heard us walking around as well. along with this, the walls were quite thin. When you go to a hotel you want some privacy but when in the corridor we could hear people just chatting from their room. And could hear when someone walked past your door (we had a room right where a corridor door was so that kept being opened and slammed shut all the time)
3 - The bed though was a lovely size was too firm for me and the person i was staying with, i couldn't get much sleep.
4 - The vent at the window was making some serious noise because of the wind, and kept me up most of the night. (Me being silly i forgot to check if i could actually close it)

Good points
1 - The staff was very friendly, only problem we had was the housekeeping in the morning, we called out no thanks but she came in anyway as she didn't hear us. thankfully we were covered (though when leaving we over heard someone say that they walked in on someone getting dressed) so i would recommend shouting fairly loudly for them to hear you.
2 - The building and our room was spotless throughout (though i found a hair in the bath. Not pubic thank god)
3 - The facilities in the room were basic (Television, kettle, tea & coffee, hair dryer etc) but for a short stay it was enough.
4 - The duvet and pillows were lovely! We especially liked that they gave us both a soft and harder pillow so we can be as comfortable as possible.
5 - The view we had was nice, looking out to the Barbican/ entrance/ car park side of the building.
6 - checking in and out was so simple and no hassle. Check in took 1 min and check out took seconds.

Its just minutes away from the cinema, bowling, aquarium, barbican, Sea front & the Plymouth Hoe. And maybe 30-45 Minute walk to town if you go through barbican & the hoe.

We didn't eat their, tea or breakfast. but we looked through the menu and it all seemed nice, classic pub food really.

Even with the bad points i would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Try and ask for a room at the top of the building so you don't hear every footstep of the people...

First class location for centre of Plymouth - would highly recommend a trip to The Vue cinema. Accommodation was excellent. We had a family room with 1 kingsize and 2 singles for the kids. Staff very welcoming and breakfast was fantastic.

Stayed here with family and friends in readiness for a wedding the following day. The rooms were, as they always are at Premier Inns very clean, modern and the most comfortable king sized bed. We had rooms overlooking the harbour which not only had lovely views but was also very quiet....perfect. The hotel was well located for the city. The dinner in the restaurant within the hotel was excellent. Very friendly reception and restaurant staff. The Reception Manager advised us the best way to get to the Registry office the following day and to leave cars in their car park and get a taxi. We would not hesitate about looking to book here again and most certainly would book the dinner and breakfast package.

Stayed here again and found the standard of the hotel and service to be as good as last time, there is a major problem with car parking as the car park is nowhere near big enough for the size of the hotel, nowhere does it say if you can use the car park for the Lockyers Quary Premier Inn (which is right next door), as the situation is dangerous for pedestrians if people have parked on the pavemnets and cars are turning around/looking for spaces. The only other irritation is the noise from within the hotel. If you have rooms above you, the noise of people walking around is excessive, as is the noise from people walking down the corridors.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper level room, no noise from people walking around in the rooms above.

Had a 3 day here during half term with my wife and 2 children.Family room good value and clean with a great shower.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but we did have evening meal at the hotel restaurant.
I was pleasantly surprised with good childrens menu and good sized portions plus the adult menu was very good and foot came out cooked well and hot.
Close walk to aquarium which is a good visit, Harbour and shops close by as well to walk.
Free parking at hotel is a nice gesture. We also visited Dartmoor Zoo which again is a good day out and approx 6 miles away.
I would recommend this hotel for a business or pleasure stay and will definately return.
