Took my son to an interview for Plymouth Uni and this was the perfect solution. We arrived V late after a rotten drive and were made very welcome. A short stroll away we found a great bar for a restorative nightcap on the quayside. A comfortable sleep, clean bathroom, big breakfast and free parking in city centre - what more did we need?!

We booked the hotel as we were heading to the Pavilions for a gig and the room was £29 for the night with free parking so a no-brainer!

The hotel was pretty easy to find with plenty of parking outside, so a good start. The staff were friendly and we got our room key with minimum fuss. The room itself lived up to Premier Inn's high standards, very comfortable bed, new flat screen TV, coffee and teas plus a pretty powerful shower. All very impressive.

The hotel is close to the Barbican area with the aquarium and nice pubs etc, but a bit of walk from the town (15-20 mins) so bare that in mind if you stay there. The barbican area is the nicest bit as far as I'm concerned so it worked fine for me.

We were slightly worried about being woken up by other gig goers, but had no noise at all so both slept soundly. The parking space was available for the whole of the next day (even though we had only booked one night) - so this gave us time to have a look round Plymouth the next day.

So hard to fault really, so I won't. Highly recommended.

We booked 3 rooms on line for family members to enable us to attend a family funeral. The location was excellent with plenty of eating places in the nearby Barbican area. The staff were polite, considerate and helpful in booking taxis, storing luggage and loaning us an iron and ironing board. Staff in the restaurant were attentive and service was quick. A stressful occasion was made much more manageable by the service provided by Premier Inn. Thanks to all working there on the nights of 7th. and 8th. January - we will certainly recommend you for future visits.

Spent a couple of days over New Year, great location, good breakfast and friendly staff, would be happy to stay again. 5mins walk into main shopping area, and 5mins to the barbican quayside area, some good places to eat in this part of town.

Booked hotel for 3 nights from 31/12/13. Staff really friendly and helpful. Ate in table table for dinner and breakfast. Very accommodating and reasonable prices. Food was tasty, served quickly and could not fault anything at all. Was surprising my daughter for New Year and this was the perfect location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from reception and ground floor. Families with children tend to be on lower floo...

Simon gave us the warmest professional welcome possible. The room 29 was very quiet, and the Table Table staff in the restaurant were excellent. Very convenient location, free parking, and a huge flat TV.
