This hotel is absolutely disgusting. On late rooms its advertised as £79.00 down to £30.00 in reality it's never £79.00.

We stayed in room 4 on the old side the tv is next to the shower, the free view box is in the sink, the bed sheets had make up on the pillows, you will NOT take your shoes off because the floor is that dirty.

The reception area isn't that bad (we're you pay) apart from the motor bike that lives in there.

You'll probably find someone hasn't flushed the communal toilette aswell , I can't describe how dirty this place is.
The owners really don't care.

We couldn't stay so paid the extra £20 to go to the ibis never ever had a problem at the ibis.

This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. The decor was awful and mismatched and obviously hadn't been updated in many years. No ensuite - instead a disgusting shared toilet and shower room. Carpets were ugly and dirty - I didn't dare take off my socks.
Lots of noise from outside and from the plumbing and other rooms. The staff were brusque and unfriendly, and we were woken up soon after 6am by the smell of burning bacon which permeated the place. I've stayed in many B&Bs and small hotels over the years and this really was appalling.

If your thinking of going to Plymouth for a cheap break, then the St Rita hotel will be a good choice. I booked 3 rooms for me and mates for the weekend to take in the The daggers v The Argyle. Two of the rooms were massive family rooms, the bathrooms were clean and large. But the decor in our room had a York stone fire place with a copper and brass mantle, and to top it all off Leopard print wallpaper. It was like a 70's sh@g Pad, made us all laugh.
But all in all cheap as chips rooms, staff friendly and a great location for the ground and the City Centre. Will return when we next play Plymouth.

Was apprehensive about staying here after reading some reviews after i had already booked a room here but was pleasently surprised. The double room was spacious and clean and was everything i would expect for £35. was made to feel very welcome by helpful lad on reception. would stay here again.

Ok so I was a little nervous when approaching this hotel roadside but was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, at £30 from laterooms.com for 1 person, 1 night i wasnt expecting what i got. With codes for the door and a room key you can come and go as you please, and its only 15mins walk from main town. The internets a little dodgy, but if you want a place with friendly staff, good facilities and comfy beds this is the place for you. The breakfast is served early, so I missed experiencing a cooked one, but staff gave me milk for cereal even though breakfast had finished an hour before i arrived to get it. Overall I give this hotel...7/10.

Room Tip: Close windows to avoid road noise, cant hear it once they are closed.

if you have booked into this hotel online and arrive by car you have a great option, sleep in the car! that way you can avoid the incredibly rude owners, dirty rooms, poor food and ambience more akin to a morgue that the laughably self-proclaimed 'private hotel'. this dive may appeal to those fans of grime who find it acceptable to find the owners motorcycle blocking the entrance hallway, surly and unhelpful staff and a general 'don't care attitude. they even lied to the customer helpline at laterooms.com about room availability and descriptions! avoid this dump like the plague (or you stand a good chance of catching it)!!

Room Tip: go elsewhere!

Lovely to be greeted at door and suitcase carried up to room which was very tastefully furnished, then to be so near such a large and beautiful park. Hosts went out of their way to chat to me, make me welcome, and provide local information. I slept well and cooked breakfast was excellent with fantastic presentation. Marvellous value for money.
