I have now been for both lunch and an evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. I had Fish and Chips for lunch which was lovely and fresh with the Chocolate Brownie for desert this was absolutely delicious. Evening meal wise I had the Chilli which was excellent although for me I would want a bit more rice but that is just personal preference and did not detract from what was a great dish, again I had the Brownie as desert. I think this place is a great little gem on Southside Street. Service was pretty good also friendly and welcoming will definatley be returning.

Visited for lunch with girlfriends. The location is very good and it helped that it was a lovely sunny day. The decor is lovely and you can see that a lot of thought has gone into making it fresh and very different from any other restaurant in the area. The menu is varied with a good selection. The prices are acceptable though a little on the expensive side. The portion sizes whilst fine for a girlie (and they were fine for me) would perhaps be a little small for a chap. I had the chunky chilli beef with rice and corn chips. It was tasty but not as hot as I thought it would be. Not a lot of beef though what there was, was very tender and I was glad for the rice as the chilli was more of a thick chilli soup. The corn chips which came with the chilli really did look like they were the dregs of the bag. My girlfriends has the beer battered prawns and the chicken satay. Both very acceptable, but again not overly large portions. Puddings followed, sticky toffee, creme brûlée and tiramisu. All very delicious and unlike the mains of a good size. I have to say the tiramisu was one of the best I have tasted. I am glad I have visited as I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends. It was lovely but I don't think I will be rushing back.

I have been lucky to go to this delicious restaurant enough to have tried nearly every dish on the menu. This has caused me a massive problem now though....I love them all and it makes the decision of what to have each time more difficult when I go!! The atmosphere is always warm and friendly and there is always a buzz from each table and this is mainly when the food comes out and you can hear wows or this is absolutely gorgeous as the diners tuck in!! This is by far my favourite restaurant in Plymouth and urge everyone to go and experience it for yourself and my be put off by the negative reviews as you clearly can't please everyone!! Can't wait to go again :)
