“Convenient and a great view”
Reviewed June 9, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Very comfortable modern apartment set in a block a short walk from the Royal William Yard. The apartment was well equipped with everything that I needed for my stay and the view from the balcony is great!

“Fabulous - location and apartment - would recommend”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Great place to stay - convenient and free secure parking is ideal. Kitchen is well equipped and whole apartment was clean. Check in was easy and flexible. Will use again 100%. Deposit returned on correct date - which was great.
2 good sized bedrooms and a great bathroom with plenty of hot water. Quiet at bedtime.
Would recommend
thank you

“A very good top floor apartment.”
Reviewed May 30, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

A well appointed top floor apartment in a good location, giving views of Plymouth Sound over the nearby apartment block. Within comfortable walking distance of Royal William Yard, the Hoe, Barbican and City Centre. There is a local bus stop in Millbay Road, for buses between Royal Parade (City Centre) and Royal William Yard, running every 15 minutes. We would certainly return to this property for a future holiday in the area.

“So much better than a hotel”
Reviewed April 30, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Took my Mum to Plymouth to visit family she hadn't seen for 40 years. At 87 years old I knew a hotel would be out of the question. Phoenix Quay apartment was perfect. So easy to book through tripadvisor, great info from the company looking after the apartment and absolutely suitable for my husband, myself and Mum. Did expect a better sea view but that wasn,t the main reason for our booking. The apartment is well appointed, the bedrooms and living area a good size and the underground parking a real plus. Whilst we didn,t do a lot of walking around
everything is nearby and the area is very quiet. Very easy to find and watching the brittany ferries in the evening was interesting. I would definately book this apartment again. Great meet and greet service.

“perfect plymouth”
Reviewed September 13, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

we followed the signs for the continental ferry as quayside is very near indeed.and was met by one of the managers at the automatic gate of the underground carpark.we were then taken by lift to the 4th floor out through the corridor door to an outside balcony where our front door to number 11 was.once inside we were both very pleased at the luxury of number 11,alot of time and money has been spent on this flat and it was a pleasure to stay there.Aldi and Lidl are only 5 minutes away for food etc. our nights were often spent watching the fully lit up ferries coming and going and had the immense pleasure of watching the world fireworks championship from the flats large balcony, take a walk to the william dockyard for a variety of restaurants passing sir arthur conan doyles medical practise and kiss me harveys house on the way to devils point.also try the short ferry ride to cremyl and edgecumbe house for refreshments or frisby golf.a short walk into the city centre opens up various pubs and restuarants and shops.

“LOVELY APARTMENT IN CONVENIENT LOCATION.”
Reviewed October 18, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

A welcome pack would have been useful after a long drive from Newcastle upon Tyne, however there are shops within walking distance.
The apartment is beautifully appointed, although I see that the mirror in the living room has been mentioned a few times in previous reviews and I agree it does spoil the look of the room. I can see the problem in hanging this mirror due to its weight ,but it is a beautiful mirror and I would imagine that a solution could be found to this problem.
Although not much of a view ( the sea could be glimpsed in the distance ) it was good to watch the Brittany Ferry departures in the evening when all was lit up.(Loved the balcony).
We travel to Plymouth every year for a family visit and now that we have found this apartment we will be using it on future visits.
