“Devils point park.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

On a nice day this is a lovely walk which overlooks the river Tamar and with close up views of Drakes Island and Mt Edgecumbe Park in Cornwall. Several old Gun turrets from world war 2 are still there and you can walk around them. Ok for fishing but have to be extremly careful as river is really fast flowing when tide going out. Not suitable near rocky area for children when tide going out. About 400 yds away there is a small beach area with an outdoor sea water swimming pool which is best to take the children to.

“Perfect getaway”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

City centre location, but totally miles away in sheer beauty and outstanding views, easy access for all abilities, plenty of seating, bring a picnic, have a ice cream, or even a 5 star meal at smeaton tower, recommend on a non- raining day.
