I stayed here Thursday and Friday and didn't sleep well at all on both nights. Apart from the fact the room and hallway was dirty, (even after the housekeeping had "cleaned"), the reception was covered in paint and dust and there was only one towel in the whole room, the worst part was without a doubt the noise!
I always travel with ear plugs but they were no good when competing with the noise from the nightclub and bars below the hotel. Screaming, shouting, singing - the usual nightlife experience was heard in great detail from the second floor room. The double glazing was totally ineffective and the road noise was pretty bad too.
The only redeeming feature was the receptionist (Rianne?) who was very apologetic and helpful. Cant fault her at all, but no way would I stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.More
