Hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful, lovely old building that was full of character but still in great condition. Proper English breakfast completed a Great B&B experience that was great value for money.

Nice and clean rooms.
Breakfast is a bit small and for english breakfast you have to pay extra,
The service at reception is more than great, friendly lady and more than happy to give us nice info about the hot spots etc.

Stayed at the Jewells guest house for two nights from 2nd August, the hotel is in an excellent position close to the Hoe and Barbican and within easy walking distance to Plymouth city centre. Although the room was small it was clean and comfortable.
Very quiet even though the hotel was full, we both enjoyed the breakfast which is a choice of cereals and full English with toast tea and coffee. All in all it was great value for the money great location and if visiting plymouth in the future I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Stayed here with my extended family in 4 rooms for two nights. The welcome was v friendly. We had the best room (I was paying the bill) which was room 6. A large room with what may well have been two single beds pushed together making one huge double. A curtained off wardrobe allowed long dresses to be hung, there was a mini ironing board and an iron ( which was clean, I checked) and a hair dryer and a safe. The bathroom was small but fine, with an effective shower, and the room and the shower were v clean. The window opened v wide with an interesting view over the rooftops of Plymouth.
Breakfast was in one room downstairs, the usual range of cereals, fruit juice and an individually cooked breakfast.
The location is superb for Plymouth Hoe, about a 200 yd walk.
The value was really v good indeed - 4 rooms for 7 people for 2 nights - £500, I checked and checked again that this was the price for the two nights and not per night, but that was correct and its what I paid.
This is a very good value decent B&B and we would use it again.

Room Tip: We had room 6 which seemed bigger than most.

From the moment of arrival I felt as though id known the hosts for years. Very amicable and friendly . The room was ample sized for my needs, quiet and comfortable.
Other guests obviously respected everyone else as it was full yet I hardly heard anyone else.
Breakfast in the morning was large, hot and cooked to perfection.
Definitely stay again if im caught out working even 20 miles away, its worth the trip.
discounted use of the nearby fitness centre is a must to completely relax. loved it.

A brilliant little guest house; and an excellent location as very near to the Hoe and easy walking to the Barbican and City Centre.
The breakfast is fantastic and perfectly well cooked.
Parking is available, and discounted permits can be purchased from the Guest House.

Excellent hotel and as other folk have intimated in a great location. It's 50 yards (if that) from Plymouth's best Thai restaurant which is extremely helpful! Will definitely go back to this hotel when I stay there again.
