“Latte and coffee and walnut cake is a must!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

This is the best thing to happen to the Broadway in a very long time. The only not so good thing is I wish it could be bigger! It is however always worth the wait. A variety of seating from bistro tables and chairs to comfy sofas. The walls are covered in nostalgic memorabilia such as various sheet music and posters from times gone by. The coffee and walnut cake is to die for! All of there food is well presented, fresh and home made. You do have to wait quite a time sometimes from ordering to getting your refreshments, there are times they need at least one other staff member, mainly to clear tables and wait on tables.

“Dave B”

This cafe serves the best coffee in town. The staff are always most friendly and welcoming. It is becoming very much a community meeting place. Fi, the Proprietor is a cheerful, friendly lady and this reflects in her staff who are also very cheerful and most efficient. It is a pleasure to take coffee here. Staff even seem to enjoy my humour!!

“Pensioners' paradise.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2012

We bring gran here and park her for an hour or so once a fortnight while we sort her shopping and other errands. Nothing cruel or cold about it. She revels in it, chatting away and having a larf with friends old and new. Nice good value food and friendly, folksy feel. Brings out the best in this respectable mostly 1960's suburb. Pick your time carefully or brace yourself for queues.

“This place is soooo popular”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2012

I visit the library quite often and have had a few coffees and meals here. The food is really tasty and lovely coffee. It has become so popular, sometimes you have to queue to get a seat, especially lunch times. Its definately the most popular place to snack on the Broadway.
Outside dining too when the weather is good.
