The Barbican is a very lively place with lots of really good eating places smashing fish and chips.can eat looking out over the marina, lots of good tea and coffee shops.
Can wander around looking at chocolate cakes, wedding dresses, nearly new, have a tour of the gin house, and a cocktail, lunch at tanners.look round an art gallery, decorate your own plate. And nearby the terrific aquarium.

Barbican is the hub of the nightlife and daylife ... great place ... try out Capt Jaspers and just get a feel for the whole Plymouth thing ...

I was driven around the Barbican during the early evening so my viewing was limited. I'd like to have walked around in fine weather but it is England after all and I did travel in October. The quaint old buildings were lovely and typical of that era.

Getting better and a wider range of restaurants now. I enjoyed some Chinese noodles and Japanese restaurants.

A must when visiting Plymouth. I absolutely love hanging out here whether it is for the great view, quaint little cobbled streets, fantastic cages such as the flower cafe or simply a meander with an ice cream from any one of the little shops. It is also a good evening drinking venue.
