Barbican is the hub of the nightlife and daylife ... great place ... try out Capt Jaspers and just get a feel for the whole Plymouth thing ...

I was driven around the Barbican during the early evening so my viewing was limited. I'd like to have walked around in fine weather but it is England after all and I did travel in October. The quaint old buildings were lovely and typical of that era.

Getting better and a wider range of restaurants now. I enjoyed some Chinese noodles and Japanese restaurants.

A must when visiting Plymouth. I absolutely love hanging out here whether it is for the great view, quaint little cobbled streets, fantastic cages such as the flower cafe or simply a meander with an ice cream from any one of the little shops. It is also a good evening drinking venue.

Lovely area of Plymouth. Spent a few days around here - and it was great. There is plenty to do, lots of shops including some amazing little galleries. Also numerous pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed it.
