The apartment is beautiful and would work well for a family with two small children or two couples as there are 2 double beds. The view is amazing and the location is perfect, walking distance to everything Plymouth has to offer, which is plenty. Parking is a bit tricky. Permits were supplied but spaces hard to come by if you move! Be careful with Plymouth parking restrictions - with a permit displaying an H you can only park where there are parking bays and not where the sign mentions residents permits only - even if the sign also displays an H. The property managers were lovely and everything went very smoothly. Would definitely stay again.
The location is perfect for both the Hoe Waterfront & City Centre and only a short walk to the Barbican.Views are excellent & you can see all the ferries, naval ships, fishing boats and sailing boats in great detail with the mounted telescope in the appartment, you can also have the French doors open and stand on the balcony. Lots of parking in nearby streets although all pay & display (best to buy a permit when booking, however, do not park in the road outside the appartment its residents only).
The appartment has everything you need including brollies for the odd rainy day lol.
Arranging the key collection was easy and Cathy was very friendly and helpful.
We are looking forward to our next visit in August.
The apartment was perfect for a weekend stay for two of us. It was spotlessly clean and the quality of the furnishings and equipment and the original art work made it feel more like somebody's home than a holiday letting. We enjoyed watching the passing ships through the telescope. It was easy to park close by and we really enjoyed our stay. It is good value for money and we will definitely try to book again when we are next in Plymouth.
We wanted a short break in Plymouth, but wanted to treat ourselves to something special. I just stumbled across The Esplanade by searching on-line for 'Sea view Plymouth'. Booked through Luxury Sea Views. They have great communication; through them you can book a variety of arrival packages and they also arranged parking passes. The cleaners were there to greet us and show us around the apartment. Apartment 2, No 5 The Esplanade is stunning. Lush carpets, art work, hi-end TV, 2 bedrooms and kitchen. 5 minute walk into Plymouth city centre or 10 minute walk to The Barbican where there are dozens of restraunts, pubs and shops. Excellent location.
Superb views and furnished to a very high standard. Suited the three of us very well. Would definitely recommend it and stay again if we are in the Plymouth area.
The apartment is stunning, huge rooms, decorated and furnished to a very high standard with the bonus of beautiful art on the walls. The location is fantastic. One tip - do not park directly outside the apartment even if you have a temporary parking permit as this area is for residents only and you will get a ticket! Park instead on the adjacent road which is just 50 yards away.
