“An indoor salvage yard rather than an antique shop.”
Review of Grosvenor Chambers

Grosvenor Chambers
Ranked #94 of 187 things to do in Plymouth
Attraction details
Reviewed October 25, 2011

You see the van about town but would not stumble across the warehouse in Rendle Street. unless you knew where to look. It's not like one of those lush fantasy world outdoor or huge hanger places you find in the Home Counties or old cathedral cities but this place is a welcome and unusual facility in Plymouth. It has a big stock on two floors, lots of marble, wooden and cast iron fireplaces, panelled doors of all descriptions, sash and stained glass windows, lots of period fittings and many pieces of kitchen and living room furniture especially storage. Not so much a builders yard as say Stax in Saltash but a lot of interesting stuff if you want to restore or maintain a period house or titivate a newer one. Nothing flash or hard sell. Be prepared to step over and around things and to brush a bit of dust off your coat as you leave.
