I often pop in with business clients for a drink in the cocktail bar upstairs. Sadly I can never do the cocktail menu justice because I am always driving! Great place and the food is good in the Brasserie too...

A fairly short tour (we took the £7 Tour) which nonetheless gave us all we needed to know. Quite a small place, but with a very interesting history. Good look round an old part of the Barbican and well presented by the young lady who took us round. Don't take a big bag as you have to lock them away in lockers (provided) before you go through to the distillery.

Then off to the bar upstairs for our 'free' (part of the tour price) G&T. Bar staff disinterested and slow (presumably sick of dishing out free G&Ts to tourists), but the bar area was quite interesting and comfortable, with a range of cocktails if you didn't want gin..

Wouldn't do it again, short and relatively expensive; must be down to the 'free' G&T. Sloe gin very nice though!

Tip: Tuesdays & Thursdays are when they are actually doing the distilling, so if you can, book it then..

We came on the Distillery tour Monday 22/4 /2013, our friends from USA were delighted and nearly bought up the shop. The tour was great very informative. We also enjoyed our drinks in the lounge upstairs. Thankyou to the tour guide you were excellent. Thankyou also to the Lady who served us in the shop (Scottish) who was great fun.Thankyou to the cocktail barman who was also full of knowledge. We have told lots of friends and hopefully they will visit. All three staff are an asset to the company. Well done you did Plymouth Gin proud.we will return...

Fascinating building, especially the old still. Tourguide was good, great fun for gin lovers. Just heading to the bar to try more. Thanks!
