My Boyfriend loves gin and we are local to the area so as the tour is a reasonable £7 i thought it would be something nice to do. The tour was really well organised and you can tell they do it everyday as its not too long nor short, It runs smoothly flowing through the rooms and had all the information you wanted to know! The tour guide was enthusiastic about what she was talking about and that makes a diiference!! It is great value for money, the tour is informative as well as hands on...you get to touch the different oils they use in the gin yourself and then you get to take home a mini gin! Thank you!

I have been to Plymouth many times but never before had chance to visit the distillery until last week when I found myself there with no queue.
As I do like to sample gin now and again I decided to take the tour which I found very interesting as they start with the history of the site and include the ups and downs of gin over the years. One thing that impressed me a lot was that they obviously take safety very seriously because they started with informing visitors of the Fire Procedure which not many other organisations bother about.
This is a working distillery but the gin is not bottled on site so you can't see this part of the process but you do get to sample the product which was very nice and I would certainly recommend this tour. Unfortunately you cant take pictures inside bit they do let you photograph through the glass.

Nice lady in the gift shop.
Right amount of information given with chance to smell the botanicals.
No on site parking, park at Lambhay car park.
