Close to the town centre and the Hoe, and still walkable from the train station. Perfect stay and would happily return. Faultless breakfast, valued the local knowledge, and directions to Laura Ashley!

Great staff, very accommodating. I booked for myself and friends from Australia not realizing the limited mobility of one. The hotel did their best to rearrange rooms to assist. Breakfast at £5 was excellent. Rooms medium sized, clean, shower good. Only thing I would complain about was the Plymouth weather!

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Room was clean and well equipped. All staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about Plymouth. Breakfast was had variety and good quality! But slightly on the small side!! That's my only negative. Would definately go there again!

A very clean hotel ,our room was to a high standard and I can not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and made you welcome without being over the top.The furnishings were quality and the bathroom had a large power shower. The bar area closed at 10pm however we were able to take drinks to our room at the end of the evening.Breakfast was high quality and served freshly cooked and hot food .Very nice stay .

This hotel is very centrally located close to the Hoe, town centre and Barbican. The staff are very friendly and very helpful especially Mike and Louise. The breakfast was very plentiful and very enjoyable, everything was cooked to order. All rooms free wi fi.We had a top floor king size room. Very bright, clean with all amenities. Free car parking. Would defiantly stay here again.

I travel to Plymouth almost every year and this is the first time in the Imperial and also the first time I have made the effort to rate accommodation.

Everything about my stay was first class. High quality rooms, high quality breakfast (served swiftly and with a smile) and a great location.

The main point I would like to make concerns the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful, very able and very professional. A real lesson in how to run a guest house.

Well done and thank you. I'll be back.

Thank you very much for your review. With regards to the staff I would like to mention that Mike was Head Boy at school in the 70s which we think has stood him in good stead as General Manager of The Imperial. Look forward to seeing you again next year. x

I recently stayed at the Imperial whilst attending a research workshop at that the MBA labs on the Hoe. The staff and management could not have been more helpful and the rooms, breakfast etc were superb. I would strongly recommend this hotel for leisure or business travel.
