Definitely worth a visit just to go tobogganing. I also learnt to ski here a million years ago and it was great fun.

“Great value for money ! Very nice people”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

As a rep staying away Im constantly trying to entertain myself, and saw the ski slope and thought I'll give it a whirl, after years of not skiing I picked it back up like a duck to water, the staff were great, very friendly indeed I got there before 6 so it cost 13.50 for ski and boot hire I was meant to have an hour and a half but because it was quiet they let me stay for ages, the only down side is that is just getting a bit old and could do with a bit of investment but truly good valve

“Bit old fashioned but OK”
Reviewed June 1, 2011

The larger artificial ski centre in the far south west. There is no real snow just that upturned nylon brush stuff laid on a moderately steep slope. Visible/obvious up on the hill opposite the A38 as it runs down to the vast flyover coming into Plymouth. Been there for two decades or more and not changed much during that time. If you have never skied then you might want to try but it's not that much fun and frankly a few minutes on real snow whether with an individual teacher or in a large group is likely to teach you far more with less pain, stress and hassle. They do passable childrens parties ending with the usual fish fingers and jelly afterwards. Perhaps the most fun bit of the whole place is the longish winding metal
chute sometimes ambitiously called the 'Cresta Run' where you sit on a little red plastic
'toboggan' and try to go a little too fast round the corners without careering into the back end of the rider ahead. All round a bit pricey for experience but it's a bit of a novelty, so who cares? Slightly off putting to encounter the keen people who take the limited skiing you can do on these little slopes (and themselves) much too seriously.
