“Beautiful and very interesting”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Great place to visit and the staff/volunteers were really helpful. The gardens are lovely at the moment with the daffodils out, and there are a lot of walks from the house.
The house is really stunning and some amazing ceilings

“Nice for jogging”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

A jog round Saltram is just the right distance and difficulty for a beginner, because you can alternate a nice walk in the woods with some running. A bit uneven under foot in places, but you can walk those bits! No fee to use only the coastal trail.

Saltram House inside is an interesting visit, make sure you visit the Orangery on a sunny day. Lovely spot to sit and enjoy the tranquility. Frequented by the stroller crowd on holidays.

set in landscaped parkland now that the trees have matured and masked some of the less exciting views
Enjoy walks through the park, woodlands and beside the river.

“Saltram gardens”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a National Trudt property and came up to their very high standards. The gardens are huge and took us over 2 hours to walk around. There were plenty of areas where you could stop and sit down and admire the view also have a picnic if you wished. Lovely place, nice National trust shop and a cafe in what looked like an old stable block.
