“Nice open space overlooking Plymouth sound.”

There is the well known attraction of Smeaton's tower, The Old Eddystone lighthouse, various statues and memorials and a big wheel like the London Eye.

“My favourite view in the World”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

I love it on the Hoe. I'm biased. I'm a Plymouth boy, but I don't care. The view out seems to stretch forever and on a good day, bad day, whatever it is simply beautiful. Throw in a clutch of cafes, restaurants kids adventure playgrounds that haven't change in 25 odd years and you have my idea of a perfect summers afternoon!

“Amazing views.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

Plymouth Hoe is definitely worth a visit. The scenery on a fine day is truly awesome. A photographer's delight. A leisurely walk along the sea front prom allows you to drink in all the splendour of the place. There are plenty of places offering refreshments along the way.

“pride of plymouth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

the hoe and barbican are the pride of plymouth, you can walk from the barbican to the hoe or vice versa with great views out to sea and of mount edgecumbe country park. Lots of relaxed restaurants and cafes, ice cream parlours, smeatons tower and the plymouth eye. Also a large grass area with the newly rebuilt fun park attached.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

Weather permitting Plymouth Hoe is a place to sit and relax read a book, have a picnic, take in the activities going on around you. Out at sea there is always something happening. The Navy ships of all sizes coming and going. There are places just below the Hoe to have a drink and a bite to eat. An enjoyable place to be.
