If you enjoy history & follow the story of the Mayflower, then you can see where the people set sail from. There is a sign with information on to read. The area is good to explore.

Unfortunately not a lot to see, and steps not kept to standard I would expect from what could be a really good attraction

Excellent historical site, should have been looked after better by both councils. However, information around steps is very good and interesting and should interest all visitors, especially our American cousins.

Our pilgrim fathers sailed away from friends family and their home town..why would any self respecting visitor to Plymouth miss this place of interest, the buildings of the Barbican are very intricately built...so are the Mayflower Steps, Stand there and feel the history.
