Super day out for all the family and all the better for the relatively recent extension to Yelverton.

Shame about the amount of pedestrian traffic...it is supposed to be a cycle trail after all!

You can cycle safely here with all your family on the old Plymouth to Princetown rail track, of course the rails have gone but not the original rail bed which is evenly laid out and will present no problems to your bikes, see old mine workings and stop and read about how these former enterprises worked in days of yore.

Ideal for kids on their bikes, but can get a bit messy!

I love visiting this trail, on bike or on foot always lots to see and places to explore with young children. Fantastic place to go what ever the weather. Slight up hill from Coypool to yelverton so getting back is far easier and quicker which is good for children!!
Any ways a cracking place what ever the weather and if the Steam trains are running its a cracking day out.
