If you fancy a coffee with a great view then Jennycliff is the place. A large open grass area next to the sea and overlooking the sound. The food in the cafe is traditional British fayre and very good quality for the price. The breakfast is excellent.

This old cafe must have one of the best views over Plymouth sound. A great place for a tasty all day breakfast at bargain prices in addition to a good basic menue. Cafe can be busy at times, but never fails to disappoint and remains the haunt of many dog walkers. Most Plymothians I suspect have been here for refreshments at sometime in the past . The free parking with good walks down to Mt Batten (30 mins stroll) are a bonus......

Good range of food and low prices, in fact everything that you would expect from a well run English cafe.

You certainly can't beat this cafe for location with wonderful views over Plymouth Sound. The food might not come with jus, or foam, or sugar work, but is good, honest cafe fare and great value, and the staff are always calm and friendly. It's an ideal place for lunch after a swim or a walk along the coast.
