I stay at the Bowling Green Hotel for 3 night with my wife and my one year old son. Firstly it's not easy travelling away and staying in a hotel with such a young baby but Tom at the Bowling Green made us and my son very very welcome. The hotel is in an excellent location for shops, restaurants or even a walk up on the Hoe.

The room provide was fantastic!!. Clean, well presented, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Cot also very good for young son who slept all night for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was very good, and again Tom catered for all of us.

Hotel had a really nice friendly feel to it and would absolutely recommend this Hotel to all, especially anyone travelling with young children!. Will defo return, would be nice to see Tom again as arrived and customers and left as friends!!. Thank you.

This is now the fourth year we have stayed at this hotel. This review is the same as our others. as the facts and our opinion remains the same.
This hotel is a very friendly place to stay. The owners, Tom and Jean, are friendly and helpful and nothing seems too much trouble.
Our double room was very clean and comfortable with all the usual facilties one would expect. The hotel is the same, impeccably clean and comfortable.
A good and varied choice is available for breakfast.
The location is also excellent, appprox. 100 metres from the Hoe and next to the "park", the main shopping centre is a about 500 metres away.
Plymouth has much to offer, check out the many on-line guides.
The best feature of the hotel is the friendliness and comfort, together with it's location. This hotel is excellent value and I can highly recommend it and look forward to staying yet again if we return to the area.

Very clean and tidy, breakfast offered very good. Tom was very helpful could not do enough for you. Parking easy £2 per day. Excellent position for walking either into the town or along the Hoe. Would recommend The Glass Blowing House, we had a lovely meal there.

Stayed at the bowling green for the second time, still a great place to stay. Great management team in Tom and Jean. Had a room overlooking the famous bowling green. Great position near Plymouth Hoe. Just a short walk from the charming water front area with its quaint bars and cafe's. Lovely room nice and quiet , great breakfast. Will stay here when next in the area.

Room Tip: All front room are quiet and have nice outlook.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Bowling Green as a family. Our host Tom was brilliant and made us feel welcome. The rooms were immaculatly clean and comfortable and the Full English was to die for. Parking was £2.00 and a permit was available from Tom. I would reccomend this to all. Close to all ammenities and if you are attending a passing out parade at HMS Raleigh tou are 20 minutes away. Brilliant!!!

The Bowling Green Hotel is a nice clean & friendly place to stay. Right next to the Hoe the location could n't be better, a very walk into town or down to the front.
The breakfast is very good & parking outside is available at £2-00 per day.
