The midweek banquet is well worth the £10 per person charge. Decent selection of meals. Portions are about right. Can't fault the service or attention.

Do not let the outside of the building put you off. Once you climb the stairs and enter The Curry Corner you'll find a well set out and very tidy restaurant. As the name suggests the restaurant is on the corner of a crossroads and as such has plenty of windows that give an airy feel and not claustrophobic as some eateries can be.
The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. My daughter ordered a chicken tikka masala but wanted it without the almonds, this was absolutely no problem to the staff who even double checked to make sure that they got it right. The presentation of the food when it was served was probably the best I have ever seen and the flavour and taste was excellent.
I am not local to Plymouth and searched on Trip Advisor for a place to eat and I was so lucky to find The Curry Corner.
All in all it was great service, great food and great value.

I visited the curry Corner with a friend early on a Saturday evening around 5pm just after the restaurant had opened for evening trading. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant already smelled like spices and curry even though we were the first to enter. The menu included traditional indian Kingfisher beer which was great (having just been on holiday to India!) and the waiter offered us undries straight away. The food was served promptly and tasted delicious, however it did go cold quickly which was a shame. The only downside to this restaurant was that we were seated next to a broken window and a cold draft keep coming through but this is something that is easily fixed. I would visit the Curry Corner again as it was an overall enjoyable experience.

We often pop up for a curry, we always get a warm welcome from owner and staff this is a family run curry house,Tuesday and Wednesday very good value at £10 per head for a 3 course meal all cooked fresh, very tasty if you tell them you dont like to much spice they will accommodate for your taste, nothing is to much trouble. This is not a fancy top end restaurant however the food and service is.I the weather is bad we have also had take aways from here and they are very good the drivers are very polite.

Having sampled a fair few curries around the world and also in the south west of England....this is surely the best in Plymouth!! The barbican curry houses just add 3 quid extra onto a very average meal and here you will get good honest food!!!! A no frills restaurant, people who complain on here about that are just idiots, you can see what its like from the road!! Excellent very tasty food.....and a massive plus for me is that when you get a takeaway, the owners remember you and always give you poppadoms with the dips!!!
