We have eaten here on several occasions in the past few years (2010-12) and would genuinely recommend this small, friendly and convenient hotel on the outskirts of Plymouth.
Accommodation - Family have stayed here and the rooms are well equipped, clean and pleasant.
Location - Whilst it is on the Tavistock Road North of Plymouth, you will not be disturbed by traffic. Plenty of free parking just in front too.
Staff - Friendly, welcoming and always keen to help.
Food - Saving the best for last - we really love traditional British food. Whether it's Sunday lunch or a meal for a special occasion (e.g. a Golden Wedding celebration for the in-laws) the food is excellent. Meals are served in a large conservatory to the rear overlooking the garden - very nice. There is a small bar which has a good range of drinks too.
And the Rabbits? - Waste food is 'recycled' to the rabbits so make sure you leave some salad and they will have a treat. Probably one for the kids (large and small).
In summary - Well worth a try.More
