This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. Service was quick and staff were very polite. Very warm and romantic atmosphere and lots of choice on the menu for authentic Turkish food. Portion sizes were big and we were so full we couldn't eat dessert which is rare! One slight negative was the bread was stale and dry but put plenty of humous sukuk on that which was delicious. Would recommend for couples.

My partner and I went here for lunch on a Sunday and had the whole place to ourselves during the majority of our meal. We were greeted and given the choice of where to sit. We ordered bread, dips and spreads to start and were advised not to have the large as it was a lot of food. I'm glad the waiter gave us this advice as the standard size was plenty! The food was very tasty, tender and filling and washed down with a lovely bottle of red wine. It is small there but it is cosy and welcoming. I will definitely be going back again! I am finding the little places in Plymouth are the best and this is no exception.

Spent a happy few hours here, with good food, well cooked and authentic, at a very good price. A little poky and they cram quite a few in, but I never felt too squashed. Don't be fooled by the downstairs as they ahve a room up as well.

House wines were quite acceptable and the whole meal was a very reasonable price - much better than some of the more obvious eateries on the Barbican. Belly dancer was very friendly as well and worked hard to pease!

Give it a go if you like good, wholesome Turkish (mainly) food.
