Beautifully situated by the waterfront with swans nesting nearby, restaurant itself it's decorated beautifully, very contemporary. It has a very romantic special feel. Service has always been excellent. Food is yummy! I would like to see more vegetarian options and lower prices, as it is very very expensive!!

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I call it " our spot". We fell in love with the food, atmosphere and staff from the first time we visited 2 yrs ago.
Our favourites are the red curry, lychee cocktail and best yet stack of ribs. We met the manager on the first night and he was simply a people person; sociable and generous. The ladies there are great! Love the music as well. We cannot fault this place. Simply amazing venue for Romance. It's classy and although you pay a bit more for the food, the experience is worth every penny.

Went with a group of friends last week.
The restaurant is very nice and very well dressed.
Nice music and the service very good.
However, whilst the presentation of the food, including the very nice and authentic crokery made a good impression, the quality of the food was not so good - especially as it is not cheap.
Most mains do not come with rice or noodles - you have to order separately.
Drinks expensive - Food verage all the way Im afraid. From starters to dessert.

Next door to another and part of the same chain of Sutton Harbour situated international themed plymouth restaurants all prominently advertised as being owned by Mr Davari, this place has a big sign and a smooth interior but the food is expensive, the staff a little detached and the overall effect unwelcoming and under par. With several other Asian restaurants now open in Notte and Southside streets each with high quality ad value Chinese and Japanese food Asia Chic feels a bit contrived and lacking. By all means try it but we felt that it was rather more to do with appearance than taste and fun.
