Excellent all round stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly with a great choice for a great hearty breakfast with quality food. Walking distance to Barbican. (4 mins) Would definitely use again every time.

We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting family for the evening. It was the perfect location for exploring the Barbican and Hoe area. We were given a very warm welcome by Rob and Sue, really lovely hosts. Rob had very good local knowledge which helped in our exploring of the area. Our bedroom and shower room were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was on the ground floor and at the back of the house so very quiet. Breakfast was cooked by Rob and was delicious. We shall certainly be back. Thank you Rob and Sue.

Had a fab stay here, the location for the barbican was fantastic, lots to do there. The room we had was spotlessly clean even the towels smelt of fabric softener. All in all this place is great to stay and we'll definitely come back!

When we staid at The Barbican Reach we were given a warm and genuine welcome which was extended all the way through our stay.

Rob was an excellent host and was very knowledgeable about the area and where to go.

Breakfast was amazing. My partner and I made sure we were up early so we didn't miss out!

I would recommend to anyone to stay here. We're coming back this December, which goes to show how much we enjoyed our stay.

Can't sing rob's praises enough.. He was always polite and helpful and let us stay an extra night at late notice. Breakfast (get the raft!!!!!) was always really tasty and the rooms were perfect for what we needed, somewhere to rest our head and relax a little. Rob was always on hand with advice of places to go and restaurants to eat in and couldn't help enough.. If we come back to Plymouth we wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Thanks Rob.

Room Tip: We got a room with an en-suite which gave us a little extra privacy.. Rooms with a front view are pe...

A really enjoyable stay; a spacious, clean & well decorated room with a large, comfortable bed.
Breakfast was cooked to order, generous, delicious & sourced locally.
Parking is on the main road at a reduced cost but it can be tricky finding a space.
The Barbican Reach is well placed for visiting The Hoe & Barbican; the Gin Company is literally around the corner!
Sue & Rob are excellent hosts who are very familiar with the area & can recommend a pub or restaurant, depending on your plans.
