“A great place to stay”

Can't sing rob's praises enough.. He was always polite and helpful and let us stay an extra night at late notice. Breakfast (get the raft!!!!!) was always really tasty and the rooms were perfect for what we needed, somewhere to rest our head and relax a little. Rob was always on hand with advice of places to go and restaurants to eat in and couldn't help enough.. If we come back to Plymouth we wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Thanks Rob.

Room Tip: We got a room with an en-suite which gave us a little extra privacy.. Rooms with a front view are pe...

Rob & Sue provide a very clean hotel with good facilities and an excellent personal service topped with a superb breakfast cooked to order and delivered nice and hot! Close to the barbican and a stones throw from the Hoe, it is superbly located. R&J Wiltshire

A really enjoyable stay; a spacious, clean & well decorated room with a large, comfortable bed.
Breakfast was cooked to order, generous, delicious & sourced locally.
Parking is on the main road at a reduced cost but it can be tricky finding a space.
The Barbican Reach is well placed for visiting The Hoe & Barbican; the Gin Company is literally around the corner!
Sue & Rob are excellent hosts who are very familiar with the area & can recommend a pub or restaurant, depending on your plans.

Easy to find and very conveniently situated for The Hoe & The Barbican, The Barbican Reach is a gem.
The decor & fixtures are of a high standard with eveything being spotlessly clean. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds with plenty of fluffy pillows.
Breakfast is plentiful and freshly cooked to order.
Rob & Sue are excellent hosts & can easily point you in the direction of a decent restaurant, music bar or quiet pub.
Excellent value for money & we will be back!

Stayed here for two nights to attend a funeral in Plymouth. I had a double room for single occupancy on the ground floor, which was spotless and well decorated. My bed was very comfortable and the breakfast, which was cooked to order by Rob, very tasty indeed. He was extremely helpful in helping me re parking, directions to various places etc. The view from my window was unfortunately of the back yard but obviously not all rooms can enjoy a front view. I've stayed in many guest houses and this ranked among the best for comfort and cleanliness. I shall certainly stay again if the opportunity arises.

Stayed 2 nights in July. Rob & Sue were great hosts. Breakfast made to order, from locally sourced products. We felt as if we were part of the family and not guests paying to stay. Will be back next year same time.
