Enjoyed our weekend stay here as a family of 4. We had a family interconnecting room which was clean and comfortable (lots of tea/coffee/biscuits) with nice views (though it was misty when we arrived!). As soon as the mist disappeared the views onto Lynmouth was beautiful. The shower had weak water pressure as we were high up on the floors but we managed. The hotel is right next to Lynton and also, 30secs from the water powered hillside railway which the kids loved. This takes you to Lynmouth where there is lots to see. Hotel was close to all the walks and the surrounding area is very scenic and tranquil though steep at times which tested my vertigo! Very warm welcome from staff and they kindly sourced gluten free sausages & bread for my colieac husband. Breakfast was excellent with yummy fresh fruit & yoghurt too. Parking was adequate though cars had to do lots of three point turns to get in & out of car park spaces. Overall, a lovely weekend to celebrate Mother's Day.

Clean comfortable, good to execllent views; depending on your room od course. Breakfast is average. Quiet and peacful. It is right next to the STEEPEST Victorian Water Powered Rail Way that takes you down to coastal Lynmouth. Prices average.

Spent a lovely few days here. The hotel is right on the coastal path .I would recommend this hotel, it is very dog friendly, the accommodation is good, the breakfast delicious Lovely owner and staff. Very good position for visiting Exmoor. The cliff railway runs right past the hotel..

We stayed in the family room for two nights in August and we had a lovely time. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and had fabulous views of the cliff railway and panoramic sea views. Lots of variety for breakfast and it was really tasty. The location is just great for Lynton, Lynmouth and Valley of the Rocks. There is a private path that takes you to the cliff railway where you can hop on to go down to Lynmouth. The Lynmouth raft race was on while we were there, such fun!!

Stayed for a week with family. Beautiful top floor flat, smart, contemporary. No fuss. Had all necessary kit. Two bathrooms. Great host, little touches here and there made it homely. We had issue with water heating up. Given access to other rooms, quick response. Great place to stay.
