We stayed in Woodlands as part of accommodation for walking the South West Coast path. There was a wonderful welcome with tea and biscuits and because we were late arriving Andy and Jo booked a table for dinner in Lynmouth.
The accommodation is very comfortable with newly furbished wet rooms and great beds. We can thoroughly recommend staying here and we are hoping to return with some friends in the Autumn.

Returned to Woodlands now under new ownership and found it more comfortable than ever. The
rooms are all superb and immaculate. The hospitality shown by Jo and Andy was second to none,
good advice on local places of interest and restaurants was given.Very peacefull environment
surrounded by nature. We hope to visit again very soon.

Room Tip: Book a room over looking the woods, and watch the wildlife!

Woodlands is the nicest guesthouse we have ever stayed in. We had a huge room with a balcony and the views of the woods were amazing - we even got to see badgers feeding in the evening. The house was in a perfect location for us; far enough from the centre of Lynton, but equally only ten minutes walk away via the footpath at the back of the house. Lovely ! We will definitely be returning.

Another faultless stay at Woodlands Guest House, more so as we stayed in the newly re-furbished room number 3. The wet rooms are an excellent addition, breakfasts as usual were first class, hosts Andy & Jo have slotted into the roll seamlessly, nothing seems to be too much trouble. I am sure the mini bar will certainly be very useful as it is sensibly priced.

My wife and I have just visited woodlands for the second time we were very fortunate to have stayed in the newly renovated balcony room which was the same room as last year, on our fist visit I thought the room was fantastic but now it's like staying in a five star Hotel with it's fabulous new on suite wet rooms . As before Andy & Jo were so helpful with all our needs and breakfast was superb with all local fresh produce can't wait to visit again

Have just returned from our first stay this year, having stayed in room 4, one of the newly refurbished rooms. This room has now been updated with an ensuite wetroom, fully redecorated & refurnished, with a mini bar in the bedroom - all to the highest standard. We didn't really think the room could have been improved on what it was, but Jo and Andy have proved us a wrong. Of course the hospitality and food are still excellent as stated in my previous reviews, nothing is too much trouble - wonderful hosts. Roll on May when we will be visiting again!
As said before, the only downside is if you have mobility problems as it is a steep walk up the drive to the house from the car park - fortunately not an issue for us.
