Owner description: It is a cooperative sales point for 50-60 local North Devon crafts people. We spent quite a bit of time there and would thoroughly recommend.

“Good selection”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Lots of interesting items from art to Bric a bac.
Good price range from Holiday souvenirs to collectable craft objects.
Bought small items for grandchildren here. Did not buy any larger items although tempted as we did not have room in suitcases.
But if you live local plenty to spend money on.

Lots to see here and plenty of nice things to buy. All made locally and most at reasonable prices. Can recommend.

“Something for all ages, tastes and purses!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We saw this advertised in a local tourism leaflet and decided to drop in. We had such a good visit that I have suggested that the Centre be included as an attraction on Trip Advisor and they clearly agree!

Housed in a converted church, this Arts and Crafts Centre acts as a sales point for local Devon crafts people. The church is absolutely beautiful... stained glass and a gorgeous ceiling. The atmosphere is light and bright.

So welcoming: umbrella box, water and treats for dogs and the dogs are welcome to browse with you.

Now here's the thing about the items on sale. There is something for a veeeeery wide range of tastes. Some of the current offerings:

Pottery
Beaded/silver/ceramic/felt jewellery
Dog toys and biscuits
Children's toys and clothes
Fudge
Soaps
Candles
Various paintings/drawings/etchings/prints/photography
Clocks made from CDs with stickers on
Cards
Blown glass

And much, much more. Truly something for all.

I loved that there were pocket money things for children - pretty bracelets for £0.90 for example. We spent over an hour browsing, laughing, purchasing and chatting to the lady on the till - the staffing is provided by the artists and crafts people themselves. We felt the prices were very reasonable indeed.

On a nice day there is a lovely garden with plenty of seating... gorgeous wrought iron benches. Wheeled access is from the side gate.

We can recommend the fudge.
