Owner description: A classic easy 2.5 mile circular walk along a relatively level section of the South West Coast Path between Lynton and the spectacular Valley of Rocks. As well as the stunning scenery, the Valley of Rocks are home to a herd of feral goats and the rare Exmoor pony.

“Sheer beauty and a sheer drop!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

We have walked here on many occasions and the beauty of this place always makes us stop and take more photos! The walk into Lynmouth along the coast path is superb but a few people were put off by the cliff face just a couple of metres away from the path..what scenery. Our reward at the end of the walk...a few pints in The Rising Sun!

Beautiful scenery and was lucky enough to hear the echo of wood on willow at the local cricket match played in the valley.

“Fossiliferous!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

Beautiful views, stunning rock formations and unspoilt. Join the goats scrambling up the hills and round the precariously balanced rocks. Not to be missed. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 and 8) and just did a short walk from the car park but if you have longer there are a couple miles of walking routes round the area. Pick up a map from the car park.

“Probably one of the best walks in the country”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The walk from Lynton along North Walk towards the Valley of Rocks and back to Lynton (approximately 1.8 miles) is stunning and is one, if not the, most scenic short walks I have been on.
