“Superb”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

Was a last minute choice so didnt get a chance to book but luckily got last little table for 2. Lovely environment and very friendly staff. Tried 6 dishes of tapas and enjoyed all of them! Piri piri king prawn was definitely my favourite. Liked the dessert as well (can't remember the name but has cinnamon in it) which came in rather large portion so fortunately we were gonna share anyway :)) The oak room is definitely worth going if u r trying to find a place to eat in the area!

“Tasty tapas”

Hot, plentiful, delicious and all served with a smile. These were not standard tapas dishes. Strongly recommended.

“Gorgeous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Really wonderful food in a lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff.
The food was amazing - I would highly recommend the Piri Piri King Prawns and the Austral red wine. We would have eaten here every night if we'd had the money to do so!

“Enjoyable, easy-going dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

We had dinner here on our wedding anniversary. It was a great choice, giving us the relaxation we wanted along with exciting food and great service. An excellent atmosphere in The Oak Room and charming service. Quite good choice of dishes. We started with Manchego cheese and Membrillo (which I discovered was quince - great combination), sunblushed tomatoes and queen olives. Fantastic to get the appetite going. My wife, vegetarian, had brie with caramelised red onion marmalade and patatas bravas, while I had the meat balls as a main dish accompanied by patatas allioli. The house wines (by the carafe) were perfectly good. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
