Although the waitress did not seem to be the happiest person, it is a good place to have lunch.
Really nice crab sandwich!

Visited the cafe for a bite to eat on a gloomy and drizzly august lunchtime. Staff were very welcome and accommodating, good choice of menu and the food looked and tasted great! The hot chocolate with whipped cream went down a treat :-)

Go to this cafe for lunch frequently. great choice and the best coffee. Cream teas and/or fresh strawberries make a great afternoon snack. the cakes and brownies are all home made. An ideal place to take the weight off your feet what ever the time of day - lovely little court yard garden too.

Absolutely lovely. The tea was served in an elegant teapot, and the jacket potato delicious with its little side salad. The food and atmosphere was perfect. Quiet elegance and calmness. the weather was hot and sultry, so having the doors open brought in a refreshing morning summer breeze. I liked the decor of light olive green painted wood. The host has a lovely calm attitude with his customers, and it was lovely having a faint hint of traditional folk songs played. I caught hints of The Ash Grove and Land of My Fathers. Customers can also eat in the garden if they wish. I would fully recommend this cafe. I appreciated being able to leave my heavy rucksack there while I explored the little shops and museum. Thank you.
