Spent a great few days in this quaint cottage.
Everything you need ,clean and very comfortable.
Idea location in picturesque village and one minute from local pubs .
Also has a lovely secret garden.
Only thing lacking was a full length mirror.

We went here for Easter Sunday lunch. Nice place with clean and tidy restaurant and gardens. Carvery lunch and dessert table. Plenty to choose from and the best roast around according to my hubby!! only thing that let if down was the long wait for a drink and the school style queue for the carvery . I will be back though...yummy!!

A visit with friends - we used the hotel as a base to explore Dartmoor.

The single rooms we booked were true singles. My only gripe is that the bed was a tad narrow but I must add that I am a tad on the wide side.

breakfast was full English ( I understand continental is available ). We also dined in the hotel and the food, while not haute cuisine was perfectly satisfactory. Service was friendly and attentive.

Executive room was quite expensive for a room only. Room was clean and would have been relatively quiet (as was at the side of the hotel, rather than on the busy main road at the front), but for the fact that there was a large machine outside it - air conditioning unit??? Could not sleep with window open because of this. No bath, just walk in shower which was not particularly powerful and the slider rail was hanging off the wall and needs repairing. Room was small for an executive room.

Room tip: Room at side overlooks farm land but also overlooks ventilation equipment which is noisy.

And was very pleased that we did. The weather was terrible and the room was very comfortable and great bed, instant hot water and every thing we needed. And very close to town, we just might have to return sometime
