“Amazing art”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We wandered in and was excited to see that there was a whole gallery for competition winning art and photography. Both myself and my partner have degrees in art and we do enjoy seeing other's work. Some fantastic pieces - I especially loved the wildlife photography.

I was impressed to see the huge stuffed animals, it feels like you're in an exotic London gallery and not Devon. The whole place has a really contemporary feel and the cafe has vegan ans gluten=free options which got us excited (at last a gallery we can eat and drink in!)

“So much better than before”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

I recently ended up in the RAMM on a rainy day not really knowing what to expect as had not been in for over 15 years. What a transformation!! The museum is totally amazing. Loved the coffee shop and various areas to look at. It is so much better than before - well done and worth a visit!

“Best museum award”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

This is the best museum outside London and is best described as a small Fitzwilliam (Cambridge) type of museum. The galleries are stunning and this place is one place in Exeter that should not be missed .... so all in all a stunning museum and gallery and is one of Exeter's best kept gems. Miss at at your peril

“Well worth the visit”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

After 4 years refurbishment this museaum reopened in 2011 and richly deserved it's ArtFund Award in 2012. The Ground floor is light and airy albeit it can be a little noisy. The TimeLine presentation is very well done.
Upstairs there are some really eclectic collections - typically Victorian - but fascinating nonetheless.
