I live just down the road from darts and love this place apart from the prices which are very overpriced. If you are a farm shop virgin you will be shocked when you visit and will be heading straight back to the supermarket. Fish and chip shed have the best fish and chips around but again overpriced. Try greendales farm shop about five mins from darts, smaller but very good prices and a very good cafe.

Come on darts we all want people to use farm shops and get away from supermarkets but your over the top prices will just give farm shops the reputation of being overpriced and only for people with fat wallets which is what farm shops are not about, good local food at good prices.

Darts farm is a superb place to visit and certainly somewhere we're intending to return to countless times in the future. Our experience was a memorable one, we hired bikes and went riding along the beautiful Exe estuary and returned for a delicious meal in their superb restaurant. The shop itself was packed full of quality, locally produced food from meat and vegetables to speciality foods and preserves. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing the giftware and buying unique items for stocking fillers and presents. Visiting the fish bar in the evening was an added bonus, the fish was fresh and cooked excellently. The atmosphere was friendly with staff who were helpful and obliging. A truly quality place to visit, you'll definitely want to go back.

Yes the food and gifts are on the expensive side but it's all of the highest quality and delicious of course. I regularely visit the restaurant on a 'Ladies that lunch' day. The food is good and the service generally very helpful. Many daily specials and a good general menu selection and divine puddings that keep us coming back.

We stop here every time we drive down to my mother in laws in Plymouth, from Berkshire.

The shopping experience can be an expensive one but as we only ever buy treats or gifts, it is ideal - just don't do your weekly shop here as it would soon mount up!

They have some lovely gifts and baby stuff (being pregnant I found it hard to resist!).
The biggest star for us is the main restaurant. Even when it is crowded, we still get served in good time. We felt the food was reasonable priced and obviously freshly cooked. They have an EXCELLENT cake selection! (I can recommend the raspberry cheesecake - yum!).

We quite often find we kill over an hour here, and its a lovely rest stop - better than the standard boring motorway services!

Darts Farm is special. It's family run and personally we have seen it grow to one of the country's best farm shops. From small beginnings the Dart brothers have created a shopping venue that is special. From the delicatessen to the butchers, and then the florists.
Is that it? No, it's not. There is a cider press, tastings available. You want wine... It's available, it's local and you can get advice. It gets better. FISH. WOW! Real fish that they source themselves. The Fish Shed is perfection. The fish and chips must surely be the best in DEVON and CORNWALL. Scale of one to ten, forget the man in Padstow. There isn't any contest.
You don't want fish, Darts have a restaurant. It's really good. Want an Aga, they specialise. Paints and porcelain, they have Fired Earth. Maybe you want some furniture or glass, the Orange Tree is there to delight. Soaps, handbags, luggage. Lovely. Need your hair attended to. Energy Hair is the place to go. Nathan had been tending my locks for quite a few years. he's magic. There is even a beauty salon. What are you waiting for... Oh, did I forget to say? Parking? Not a problem. Plenty for all and if you have a disability Darts Farm will look after you. Parking and lifts and toilets available. Just go and enjoy.
