We managed to venture out without the kids so decided to take the road less travelled so to speak and avoided the chain cinemas and their inflated prices.

What a treat to find a cinema with reasonable prices, friendly, audible staff.
we have found a relaxed place to go which we will rush back to with completed membership forms.

The cinema had sofas and seats to pick from and the screen was clear to see with great audio.

All in all independence has something to offer and we are converted to this smaller more intimate cinema which out performs the bigger less personal cinemas.
Thanks.

Went and used our Memberships for the first time this evening and watched 'Trance' by Danny Boyle. Excellent film but this review isn't about the film, instead it's about the Picture House! Parked up which is a bonus and collected our free tickets which I had reserved on-line earlier, that was a doddle too! I chose the sofa seats at the back of the cinema as I find them really comfy when your in a pair. Great comfortable cinema which I would highly recommend to anyone

This pleasant cinema is definitely a very nice place to go. The seats adjust and you can get yourself extremely comfortable!

Friends and I watched the ballet of Alice in Wonderland, which was simultaneously screened around the world from the Royal Opera House.

Great view of the screen, with no heads in the way!

There is also a pleasant bar upstairs and what sounded like live music being played when we went out for drinks in the interval.

Highly recommended.

we are members here and it's one of the best cinemas I've ever been to . Great films, good wine and good service.

Incredibly comfortable, friendly and welcoming cinema just off Fore Street Exeter. Easy to book in advance and lovely bar upstairs. Reasonable prices. Has become a family tradition to visit the Picturehouse every Christmas for a movie for this reason!
