TOP TIP..... Ask to have the service charge removed at the end of your meal and instead give your tip to the waitress. Ours was super friendly and cheerful. A pleasure to be served by her. Food fantastic. Garlic bread to die for and super puddings.
I would highly recommend this classy place to all my fiends and will be eating there again in a couple of weeks. Bliss!

I met a friend for breakfast in this restaurant on Cathedral Green. Lovely and warm on one of the coldest mornings of the year. Great coffee and tea, quick service and no hassle. Granola arrived looking very pretty and elegant in an ice cream glass. My full English was freshly cooked and delicious. Lovely tasty sausage, fried mushrooms and tomato, two back rashers of bacon and smooth scrambled eggs. Lovely. And a comfy sofa style bench seat to sit on. A very pleasant way to start the day.

Very pleasant meal and admosphere for our party of 3 adults eating from the £9.95 lunchtime special. Dissappointed to be charged an 'optional' 12.5% service charge for a chain restaurant meal. Given no opportunity by waitress to select our own tipping amount having the amount including service demanded by her. Oh - in February we really do not need cold air from an airconditioning unit blowing down over us and our 'hot' food!

Was treated to a fantastic lunch at Cote Brasserie in Exeter by my wife today.
The restaurant was very busy so it was lucky we booked. We had a lovely table upstairs by one of the windows overlooking the Cathedral Green.
Service was polite, friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. I had Pork belly (with amazing crackling) with a delicious apple reduction and herby mash all washed down with a delicious Sav Blanc. The wife had delicious spinach and ricotta crepes. Dessert we had Tarte au Pommes and Creme Brûlée.
Well worth a visit!! Very impressed
