“Fantastic all-day breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

Visited with the family while on holiday, at lunch time. It's set up like a coffee/sandwich shop in terms of ordering food, and then you go and grab a table upstairs. The dining area is large, with high ceilings, quirky features, and a good atmosphere.

We all went for one of the all-day breakfast options. They were all delicious - perhaps the most tasty we have had. They seem to use high quality ingredients, and take great pride in their food.

“Great get together”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

I visit Boston tea party regularly and love the chilled out arrangement. It is popular with university students who come here to work, and a perfect place to meet friends and family, i recommend their white hot chocolate.

“Best tea in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

We always go here for tea/snacks when in town. It is really buzzing and has a great atmosphere, but above all it serves great teas and coffees.
It is very busy early in the morning, 11ish, lunchtimes and early evening, but that is testimony to it's quality.
The breakfasts, snacks and cakes are all very good and of generous proportions and (importantly for my wife) there is a huge selection of vegetarian stuff. There is a wide variety of teas and coffees, all freshly brewed, as well as other drinks.
At busy times there can be a long queue for service (you order at the counter), but it is well worth the wait. The main dinnig room upstairs has an eclectic mix of furnishings with papers/books available to read. You sit at large tables and there is usually plenty of room for everyone, even at busy times, provided you are prepared to share! This makes for some intersting conversations if you are the gregarious sort as there are lots of students/professionals usually happy to chat.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of fare, they must be for we return again and again!
