Description: Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent cafe group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Exeter is one of largest Bostons - not that you can tell from the bustling & busy downstairs. It is the vast & imposing upstairs dining room that proves the real draw to the discerning folk of Exeter. Plenty of room to spread out.

Love this place. Unfussy and much better than it may look. On both of my last visits I've had the bacon and egg muffin - delicious!

This is the second time I have visited the Boston Tea Party on a visit to Exeter and have not been disappointed on either occasion. The choice of food/drinks and cakes is excellent and if you have time to sit upstairs it is a room with a difference. If you dont then I can recommend the sausage and egg bap as a great start to a Sunday morning

The food is great, and the upstairs dining room is enormous! It is the perfect place for friends to catch up, and the atmosphere is great, especially for lunch and tea. The Croque Monsieur is to be recommended.

Yet another great visit to Boston. Massive upstairs area for longing with a paper an brunch. Staff were polite.

2 things that could improve: the wait time at the Barista counter and the numb of plug for devises such as laptops to be used.

Thank Rose J

I'm a long-time fan of the Boston Tea Party, although each of its branches is its own individual place. The Exeter Branch, on Queens Street is lovely. Don't be put off by the small store front or the narrow, downstairs area with the cramped counter and long (but quick-moving) queues. Upstairs is where it's at. Here you will find open space, high ceilings, plenty of light and lots and lots of seats.

The Exeter Branch serves the usual Boston Tea Party range of coffee, cake and food, with lots of great options for breakfast and lunch, with vegetarians well-catered for. If I lived in Exeter I'd probably find myself spending a lot of time in here...
