Brilliant staff, good prices, well looked after place, grand athmosphere, peaceful environment, fun fatcs to lear, quiet reflection time on what was and still is...need we say more? A stratofab place!

Interesting building with some good interpretation material. They could do a lot more but the building fabric is deteriorating fast. See it while you can. Look out for "Exeter Open Days" when the it is open and free. Suitable for most ages as the visit time is short.

I visited this very interesting place helping my daughter with a group of children from her school. We all dressed up and ate the food of the time which was delicious. Both the children and adults had a wonderful and very informative time.

Lovely Tudor house - not very big but full of atmosphere. On certain days kids can dress up and experience Tudor clothes, games, cooking etc and in other days evening concerts with instruments from Tudor times. If you don't like kids, check it isn't a kids special day!

St Nicholas' priory may only be small, but it is a great place to take the kids for an hour or two. It's amazingly interactive; children can play with the 'food' in the dining room, dress up in the chambers upstairs, and take around 'Robert the Rat' as a guide; a little finger puppet...very sweet!

It's really very reasonably priced, and adults will appreciate it too, it's a rare chance to glimpse into a fully decked out Tudor home, and the place packs a serious punch when it comes to atmosphere. We were so gutted we couldn't get tickets to the recent Dr Faustus performance there- bet it was amazing!
