“Very expensive”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Just popped in here one evening for a drink. Usual chain pub experience, however, the drinks prices are very expensive. A pint and a vodka and lemonade.... £8.50! Had the one drink then left and went somewhere more sensibly priced afterwards. The place doesnt warrant such high prices given that it looks nothing different to a Weatherspoons inside.

“Good lunch”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

We had lunch here on a glorious sunny afternoon sat outside and enjoyed it very much, very tasty fresh produce served with an excellent white wine! Service was very good and very helpful, the only down side was that it was quite pricey.

“Fab food, great service”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

4 of us had a quiet, lazy Sunday lunch. We were surprised how quiet it was as we had a lovely meal. Sunday lunches were huge and very tasty. We particularly loved the giant yorkshires and herby gravy. The jug of water provided was generous - it's such a pain when you have to request top-ups - and had slices of lemon and lime in.
BUT the best part - the party rings served with the pot of tea. We're definitely coming back. Glad we didn't check tripadvisor before we went, or we would have missed an excellent experience.

“Expensive”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

The cost of a glass of wine in this place is one of the most expensive in Exeter the food is poor and very small for the price! The cocktails have got very poor and not worth the price and are never the same!
