I stayed two nights here for a business trip and the service was great, the room's are relatively clean apart from the slight bit of mold on the shower! sort it out guys otherwise i would of given a 5 star for sure. The receptionist recommended the Bay leaf indian restaurant and it was a great recommendation as the food was fabulous.

Staff are rude unhelpful. Very defensive when pointed out. Food was bland and not cooked well. Stay away from this place at all costs. The staff think that guests are an inconvenience and that they are here for a social event. Not supprising with ignorant management. Not up to normal jurys standards which are normally very good.

I run Customer Experience training around the country and this venue was one of the best. The staff are friendly and efficient and really embody their company's values of: Positive, Willing, Genuine, Friendly and consistent. The lunches were well received by my delegates, and when I made a suggestion, they took it on board and improved things willingly. The conference rooms are great, but do suffer from being in the basement and there being no natural light.

Lovely, clean, efficient hotel. Didn't go to the bar but it looked v inviting. Funny thing, hotel smelt lovely. It was a bit noisy with traffic but that's because I'm obsessed with having an open window. With the window closed and the air-con on, it was silent.

My sister and my teenage daughter and I decided to stay at this hotel for a night to get some shopping done. We chose this hotel because it is just a short stroll from the shops. We arrived too early for our room but the staff were very polite and helpful, storing our bags for us. The 2 rooms we had were perfect - a double bed for me and a single for my daughter. My sister was offered a connecting room next door which was great for us! The rooms were spotless and very quiet and the air conditioning worked very well and was much quieter than in most hotels! The evening meal choices could have been better but there was plenty to choose from the buffet for breakfast! We will probably go back in October for Xmas shopping!

Room Tip: rooms facing the back are quiet as there is only a carpark which is a little way away and mostly onl...

Check in and staff on check in desk faultless, room was clean, comfortable and modern. No problem. Dinner in the restaurant...a mistake. They are trying to re create a kind of fine dining menu from poor quality ingredients. Starter was described as "cantaloupe melon, prosciutto ham, rocket, shaved Parmesan and balsamic syrup" the glass plate was swimming in balsamic vinegar, the rocket was drenched by it, the smallest piece of ham in the world and no Parmesan shavings but spoonfuls of pesto from a jar. Main was described as "7oz centre rump steak, aged for a minimum of 21 days, seasoned and seared on the chargrill served with sea salted chips, fried mushrooms, beer battered onion rings, grilled cherry tomatoes" well the tomatoes were the best bit, my medium rare steak was cooked medium to well, we'll almost burnt on the outside, sea salted chips were anaemic oven chips, tiny shrivelled up mushroom, onion rings were ok. I was also sat near the kitchen door so I could hear the staff and managers banter. Before I and other guests had finished dinner the manager and a staff member were re arranging tables for breakfast and making a lot of noise. I had scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast and a yoghurt, can't really go wrong with that, but although empty tables non of them we're clean and laid up. Check out was fine. It is a shame that the whole experience for me was let down by the poor quality food.
