Stayed with husband and teenage son on a trip to see the university. The location is great for the town centre - more of a trek to the university but if you don't mind the hills...
Our room was lovely, and spotless. Beautifully furnished, as are all the communal areas. The receptionist (Marie) was very welcoming and chatty, which was lovely after such a long journey. All in all we were very happy with our choice and will certainly stay again when in Exeter.

Jurys Inn is a very modern hotel, rooms are to a high standard and kept very clean, really nice shower in the bathroom, and all toiletries are supplied as you would expect in a hotel of this calibre. Staff were very attentive and helpful. My room had a double and a single, so plenty of space for one! INternet is on a charge, £10 for 24 hours or £5 for 1 hour, a bit expensive on top of the room rate. Buffet style breakfast, but a decent choice with cereals and rolls, fresh fruit and toast making fairly standard stuff.

First time stay at a Jurys Inn. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable accommodation. I have stayed at Premier Inns and the Marriott Hotels, this is almost the quality of the Marriott at the price of the Premier Inn and breakfast was included. Ice machine on every floor - great! I took a bottle of long life milk and was glad as only 4 small pods in room but could probably have had more if I asked.

We had tickets for an event at Westpoint and on check in Reception booked our taxi there without any trouble. It cost just under £12 each way. Taxi from St Davids Station just under £6, bus from the town centre to the Station £1.60.

Breakfast was a buffet style where you could choose fruit, cereal or cooked. All very nice. Located opposite the Vue cinema and literally 5 minutes walk from the city centre. We went for a girlie treat and wasn't disappointed. The water pressure in the shower was good too. Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner provided.

What a great find. Our room was on the third floor and had a double and single bed. I had booked a twin room but it was lovely and spacious. Also liked being able to control the air conditioning within the room.

Excellent location for the lovely city of Exeter. Clean, bright, fashionable. Rooms spacious and comfortable welcoming bar area. Staff courteous and efficient. Would definitely stay with this chain again. In fact, goodbye Travelodge, Premier, this beats you hands down!

I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends. When we first arrived we thought it was a nice place. Rooms are tiny but is clean and all quite new. However, the place is just so noisy, proably the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. For over an hour there were drunken guests walking up and down the corridors, slamming doors and shouting. When we looked outside, there were guys in their pants chatting in the corridor. They were clearly drunk so i didn't want my boyfriend to confront them. This went on until gone 1 am. When they did go to their respective rooms, one in the room next to ours, we could hear them plugging things in, weeing and having sex! The bd was tiny (didnt seem to be a double) and really uncomfortable. We hardly slept at all.

The next morning, we tried to put it behind us. Breakfast was terrible, busy, no tables, kept running out of food. We were so tired any way, our weekend was ruined. i think this hotel attracts people who are staying after a night out on the town because of its price and proximity to the football stadium and town. Never again.

We did not plan to stay at the hotel but due to unforseen circumstances had to find find emergency alternative holiday accomodation at 11:30pm for me, my husband & 3 children. The Hotel staff were fantastic they gave us a great deal on the 1st night & even matched the price for the rooms for the subsequent night. The rooms were a good size, clean and very comfortable. The children loved the hotel & certainly didn't want to go home! I will definately be booking this hotel again.
